AT A GLANCE

The essentials

Joining is free

The waitlist is not a purchase, subscription, or Duelus platform account.

Confirmation sets your place

Founding order is determined when the confirmation link is completed.

Benefits have fair limits

Rewards are personal, non-transferable, and subject to availability and eligibility.

02
WHO MAY JOIN

Eligibility and younger visitors

  • You must be at least 14 years old to join independently, or meet any higher minimum age required where you live.
  • If applicable law requires a parent or guardian's permission, you may join only after receiving it.
  • You must submit an email address that belongs to you or that you are authorized to use.
  • You may not join if applicable law prohibits you from receiving the communications or future invitation.
  • Additional age, territory, or capacity rules may apply to particular future Duelus features.

The waitlist does not authorize a younger user to access a future feature that carries a higher minimum age.

03
SECURING YOUR PLACE

Joining the waitlist

1

Submit

Enter your email and actively accept the waitlist consent.

2

Confirm

Use the confirmation link before it expires, normally within 48 hours.

3

Qualify

Your server-side confirmation time determines your founding order.

Joining is free. It does not create a paid subscription, purchase, ownership interest, Duelus platform account, or guarantee of admission by a particular date. One person may not use multiple addresses or automated methods to obtain extra founding positions.

A pending submission is not a secured place. Duelus may reject malformed, disposable, abusive, automated, or unlawfully submitted addresses and may correct an obvious technical counting error.

04
WHAT WE SEND

Launch communications and unsubscribe

Confirmed members may receive launch progress, selected previews, founding-benefit information, username-reservation instructions, and early-access invitations. Email frequency may vary with development progress, and we do not promise a fixed schedule.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in a Duelus email. Unsubscribing ends waitlist and launch marketing messages, although Duelus may still respond to a request you send or retain limited opt-out evidence as described in the Privacy Policy.

05
THE FOUNDING 500

Founding benefits

The first 500 eligible, confirmed waitlist members are intended to receive the founding package presented on the website. The currently described package includes a Founding Duelist title, Genesis profile frame, username-reservation window, priority early access, and a founders' feedback channel.

One package per person and future account Personal and non-transferable No cash value or resale right Subject to verification and naming rules Redemption deadlines may apply Early access remains capacity-dependent

These benefits depend on the relevant feature being technically and legally available. “Priority early access” means priority invitation before later waves; it does not promise uninterrupted service or immediate access. Duelus may make a reasonably necessary change to a benefit if a technical, security, legal, or third-party constraint prevents delivery as described. If that happens, we will aim to provide clear notice and a comparable non-cash alternative where practical.

Because joining is free, a delay, change, cancellation, or failure to launch does not create a right to payment or cash compensation, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

06
NAMES, NOT OWNERSHIP

Username reservations

A qualifying member may be offered a limited period to request one available username before general registration. A reservation is not ownership, intellectual property, a permanent right, or a guarantee that a requested name will be accepted.

  • Names must follow the published naming and community rules.
  • Duelus may reject or reclaim names involving impersonation, abuse, trademarks, protected platform terms, or security risks.
  • A request must be made and activated before the stated deadline.
  • The reservation must be connected to the eligible founding member's future account and may not be sold or transferred.
  • Inactive or unactivated reservations may expire after reasonable notice.
07
USE IT FAIRLY

Acceptable use

You must not use the website or waitlist to:

Submit another person's address without authorization Use bots, scripts, bulk requests, or multiple identities Bypass rate limits, security checks, or founding-position rules Probe, disrupt, overload, or introduce malicious code Scrape or copy the site in a way that violates law or our rights Misrepresent an affiliation with Duelus or another person

Duelus may investigate suspected abuse and remove affected entries when reasonably necessary to protect the waitlist and other participants.

08
DUELUS MATERIALS

Intellectual property and feedback

The Duelus name, logo, website design, artwork, text, software, and other materials are owned by Duelus or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable permission to view and use this website as these Terms allow.

You may not reproduce, sell, license, publish, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Duelus materials unless the law allows it or Duelus gives written permission. If you voluntarily send product feedback, Duelus may use the ideas without payment or an obligation to implement them, while handling personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

09
OTHER SERVICES

Providers and third-party links

Duelus currently relies on hosting, database, security, and email services, including GoDaddy and Microsoft 365. Those providers have their own service and privacy terms. External links are supplied for convenience; Duelus does not control and is not responsible for an unrelated third-party website's availability, content, or practices.

How these providers process personal data for the coming-soon site is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10
COMING SOON

Availability, launch and changes

Duelus is under development. The launch date is not yet fixed. Website availability, email delivery, invitation timing, and planned features can be affected by maintenance, capacity, security, provider availability, development decisions, or events outside reasonable control.

We may improve, pause, modify, or close the coming-soon site or waitlist. We will not use a change to arbitrarily remove a properly earned position, but we may correct errors and take proportionate action against abuse. We will give appropriate notice of a material change when reasonably possible.

11
RESPONSIBILITY

Disclaimers and liability

We use reasonable care to operate the website and waitlist, but do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or email provider. You are responsible for entering a correct email address, maintaining access to it, checking spam filters, and using confirmation or redemption links before their deadlines.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duelus is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from this free coming-soon website, or for failures caused by your systems, unrelated third parties, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

12
LEAVING OR REMOVAL

Ending participation

You can leave the waitlist at any time through an unsubscribe link. Duelus may suspend or remove a pending or confirmed entry where reasonably necessary for abuse, security, legal compliance, inaccurate eligibility information, or a serious violation of these Terms.

Where appropriate, we may explain a removal and allow you to contact support. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including intellectual property, lawful record retention, liability, and dispute terms—remain effective after participation ends.
